Our History ​

2009
The Beginning

In response to ballooning interest spurred by the financial crisis, Global AgInvesting launches the first investors’ conference focused on the growing market for farmland investment.

2010
Demand Builds

The flagship program doubled in attendee size two years in a row, becoming the world's most well attended agriculture investment conference. With an expanded focus on investing across the entire value chain, the event filled a void in the market to understand investing needs to meet the overwhelming growth in global demand.

2011
Brand Expansion

Between 2011 and 2015, Global AgInvesting expands to include events in Europe and Asia. This allows current allocators, farm and fund managers to connect around specific regional concerns while assessing agriculture as a viable, rapidly growing asset class.

2019
GAI Rankings & Trends Report

According to the inaugural report created by HighQuest Partners, AUM in the global food and agriculture sector totaled more than $131 billion in 2019.

2020
COVID and the Pivot to Virtual

Global AgInvesting moved all 2020 offerings to digital experiences in response to the COVID-19 pandemic.
