Jamie Johnson is a fourth generation California farmer and Co-Founder of Simpatica, the largest avocado grower in the U.S. Simpatica holds a deeply-rooted respect for the land and a passion for nutrient-dense food. The company’s interests are focused on permanent crops, primarily avocados and citrus, in California and Brazil. Jamie chaired the Hass Avocado Board for three terms, and serves on both the Dean’s Advisory Council and the Agricultural Issues Center Advisory Board at the University of California, Davis, College of Agricultural and Environmental Sciences. He sits on the board of the CJ Hubbard Foundation, which provides support to foster care children.
