After realizing rapid growth in Paris, the Belgian food delivery-tech startup, Take Eat Easy, has raised €10 million in a Series B round of fundraising involving Eight Roads Ventures (formerly Fidelity Growth Partners), and existing investors, Rocket Internet, DN Capital, and Piton Capital.
Launched in September 2013, Take Eat Easy provides a tech-based solution for fast, traceable food delivery. The company’s platform links restaurants, bicycle couriers, and customers using dispatching algorithms through its website and mobile app, that can deliver meals in as little as 17 minutes, and allows customers to track their courier in real time so they know the exact arrival time of their order.
The company plans to use the funds raised through the round to support its international expansion beyond France and Belgium, throughout Europe, particularly to the UK, Germany, and Spain as it aims to become the leading food delivery company in Europe.
