Many thanks for visiting globalaginvesting.com, and it was a great pleasure to meet many of you at the Global AgInvesting 2012 conference in New York. I hope you are enjoying your experience on this site, and that you will continue to visit for regular updates.
As you will see, a good portion of the existing research covers the macro-fundamental case for investing in the agriculture sector. While this is critically important, many of us are already familiar with the issues of population growth, changing diets, new energy strategies/biofuels and limited natural resources and how they will drive agriculture this century. Still, I felt that it was important to cover these fundamental issues in depth in order to have a base from which to launch future research initiatives that dive much deeper into issues of concern to investors.
In the future, we will cover such subjects as agricultural transportation and infrastructure investment opportunities, in-depth research on crops, countries, regions, new investment strategies, and many other topics salient to agriculture investing. Also, be sure to peruse our ever expanding directory of agriculture investing for listings of investment managers, investors, service providers and industry participants in the global agriculture sector.
Most importantly, we want to be responsive to your needs. Please contact me via phone at 978.887.8800, or via email at bkiernan@globalaginvesting.comwith topics that you wish to see covered. Also, should you have more specific research needs; the GAI Research & Insight team will produce custom bespoke research tailored to your firm’s needs. Thanks again, and enjoy the site.
