Global agriculture is being challenged on multiple fronts – all equally important, but unique in how they need to be addressed. From weather and climate change, to labor issues, nutrient runoff, or regulatory difficulties, the power of agtech lies in its ability to forge a more resilient and productive global food system through technology.
Rising to the occasion is Tidal Grow AgriScience (Tidal Grow) which has emerged from stealth announcing its official launch with a diverse portfolio of solutions and a robust pipeline of projects in place that the company explained leverages its tech stack to reveal entirely new possibilities in effectiveness for crop nutrition and inputs from nitrogen to fungicide, to nematicides, and more.
As a rapidly growing plant nutrition and crop protection startup, Tidal Grow was created by a team with deep, multi-generational roots in farming, to leverage new technologies that deliver unmatched levels of effectiveness while providing significant ROI for growers.
“Our core goal is to help farmers and growers maximize profits, increase yields, and protect their valuable production resources, all while reducing their environmental footprint,” said Kevin Hammill, CEO, Tidal Grow AgriScience. “What sets us apart is our respect for and understanding of growers in every part of the crop production ecosystem.”
“We meet them exactly where they are, integrating seamlessly into their existing production practices, resulting in improved performance and less traditional crop inputs. We are excited to bring our products to the market and be a catalyst for a healthier population and planet.”
Tidal Grow® Integra Technology – This scalable platform is positioned to directly impact the $100 billion-plus crop protection and fertilizer markets through its ability to engineer how fertilizer and crop protection products are delivered to a crop or target pathogen. By integrating biology and chemistry, this technology maximizes the potential of one of the Earth’s most powerful biomolecules and deploys it in a targeted manner, making cropping inputs more effective.
The first fertilizer built on this technology is alignN™, which delivers nitrogen to a crop in a highly precise way resulting in higher yields per unit of fertilizer and a lower carbon footprint for the industry.
Tidal Grow noted that while field trials are being conducted across the U.S., construction of a commercial production facility for alignN™ is scheduled to begin this year.
This official launch also includes:
Tidal Grow® Bioactive portfolio – A platform of products harnessing the power of nature to create next-generation plant nutrition and crop protection products that offer significant contributions to regenerative production practices.
Already included in this portfolio are Tidal Grow® Spectra, a new crop protection product, and Pacific Gro® Oceanic and Sea Phos®, OMRI-listed organic carbon-based fertilizers.
“Our mission is to deliver powerful technologies that target and solve growers’ greatest challenges,” explained the company. “Our technology builds on the unmatched capabilities of our parent company Tidal Vision. We field test our products and optimize them to deliver the performance agriculture demands. We envision a future where farmers apply more effective crop inputs, build their soil, grow thriving plants, and profit more.”
