Salary:           Level 8 $121,625 – $132,105 pa PSGOGA
Location:       South Perth
Tenure:          3 Year Fixed Term Contract

These newly created positions offer you an exciting opportunity to join an economic development agency to work in the priority areas of growing strong markets and trade development, with a commercial focus and global perspective that supports the agriculture and food sector in Western Australia.

 

Based in South Perth, taking on one of these three pivotal positions will allow you to contribute in one of the following areas:

 

·       Livestock Industries

·       Grains Industry

·       Irrigated Agriculture and Diversification

 

You will be responsible for developing and fostering relationships, networks and alliances with industry participants and community stakeholders, investment professionals and strategic investors to build value chains to deliver business outcomes benefiting the Western Australian agriculture and food sector.

 

Your strong stakeholder management skills and business acumen will assist you to secure support from government, industry investors and in-market businesses.  Your proven skills in managing and delivering complex multi-disciplinary projects, involving both the private and government sectors are crucial.

 

Strong technical, economic and commercial skills relevant to the agriculture and food sector with a successful track record developing strategies and implementing plans for stimulating business growth, facilitating investment attraction and ensuring strong corporate governance and risk management are essential for success in these positions.

 

Successful applicants for these positions will be required to undertake national and international travel.

Tenure: Fixed term opportunity for a period of three (3) years.  Consideration may be given to offering a further term(s) or permanent appointment, subject to conditions.
