£37 Million to be Invested in Scottish Aquaculture

Demand for salmon currently outstrips supply both in Scotland and abroad.  The owners of Scottish Sea Farms, SalMar, and Leroy are investing £12 million in freshwater operations and an additional £25 million in new farming sites over the next two years.  Scottish Sea Farms is a subsidiary of Norwegian salmon farming company Froya.
