Bill founded Pacific Agri Capital (PAC) in 2008, creating an agribusiness private equity firm, investing in permanent tree crops in the tropical belt. He has led the company from its origins in South East Asia, a global benchmark for institutional plantations, to their current leading presence in Colombia and Peru. Bill has built a team of finance and technical professionals, providing best in class agricultural management practices. PAC’s funds have successfully backed two of Peru’s largest plantation initiatives during the last few years, and have also launched an institutional cacao plantation initiative in Colombia. Bill has been involved in agriculture venture capital and private equity in South East Asia and Latin America for the last 15 years, and has been working in emerging markets for close to 25 years. He is a graduate of the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and currently resides in Colombia.
