Subscribers may request a refund within thirty (30) days of initiating the subscription, minus a $3 daily access charge for the duration of the subscription and a $50 processing fee. Global AgInvesting Event Cancellation Policy
You may substitute delegates at any time. Cancellations received in writing more than seven (7) days prior to the conference start date will receive a 100% credit to be used at another HighQuest Group conference within eighteen (18) months from the date of the issuance of the credit. For cancellations received less than seven (7) days prior to the event start date no credits or refunds will be issued.

General Information
This Privacy Policy describes the practices that the HighQuest Partners (“HighQuest Partners”, the “Company” or “We”) follows to respect the privacy of all visitors, users, and/or attendees of and to:

This policy covers our treatment of (1) personally identifiable information, as defined by numerous statutes in the United States (such statutes, the “PII Laws”), (2) information protected by the California Consumer Privacy Act (the “CCPA”), the California Privacy Rights Act (the “CPRA”), and the California Online Privacy Protection Act (“CalOPPA”), (3) personal information and private information, as defined by the New York Stop Hacks and Improve Electronic Data Security Act (the “SHIELD Act”); (4) personal data, as defined by the European Union’s General Data Protection Regulation (“GDPR”), and (5) personal information, as defined by Canada’s Personal Information Protection and Electronics Documents Act (“PIPEDA”, and collectively with the PII Laws, CCPA, CPRA, CalOPPA, the SHIELD Act, and GDPR, the “Privacy Laws”) (collectively, “Personal Information”), which we gather when you are attending, accessing, viewing or using any of our Websites, Events, or Mobile Apps. This policy does not apply to the practices of companies that we do not own or control, or to individuals that we do not employ or manage. By accessing or using our Websites, registering for and / or attending our Events, using any Mobile Apps, or utilizing other products or services you agree to the terms of this Privacy Policy. This policy may change from time to time. Your continued use of this Website, registering for and / or attending our Events or utilizing other products or services after We make changes is deemed to be acceptance of those changes. The Personal Information We Collect and How We Collect It
– HighQuest Partners Websites and Events require your Personal Information in order for you to gain access to certain portions of our Websites, register for and/or attend our Events, and utilize other products and services, as follows:
– Personal Information we collect via registration forms, login forms, subscription forms, and Mobile App login forms may include, but is not limited to, your name, company, title, mailing address, phone, email address, bio, profile photo, and industry segment.
– If you are purchasing a subscription, Event registration, service or product, your credit card information may be required. From time to time, we conduct surveys that collect visitor perceptions of our Websites and Events. These surveys may or may not require Personal Information, such as name and email.
– Your name, company, title, and email address are collected to download white papers.
– Photographs and/or video may be taken at any Event.
– Mobile Apps at our events may collect matchmaking data, meeting schedules, survey/poll/voting answers, networking connections, postings and messaging.
– We track when emails sent to you via your subscription email address are opened and clicked on.
– Our Websites use “cookies” that are automatically placed in your computer to store your preferences, form settings and sign in details when you submit data to us through subscription, registration and login forms. Cookies are small text files that are placed on your device by websites that you visit. They are widely used to make websites work, or work more efficiently, and to provide information to the owners of the site. Most web browsers allow some control of cookies through browser settings. We may collect the following information via cookies when you visit a website or web portal provided by HighQuest: aggregate statistical information, information related to your use of our Websites or Mobile Apps (including your password, the links you click on, your movement around our websites and portals, the pages you visit, the number of times yousecurity open a page, and which information is consulted), your IP address, and your browser type. You may be able to change the preferences on your browser or mobile device to send “do not track” signals or to prevent or limit your computer or device’s acceptance of cookies, but this may affect the functionality of the Websites or Mobile Apps. – We also utilize Google Analytics to track visitors, including IP addresses, browser types, referring pages, pages visited, and time spent on particular pages which We use to improve our products and tailor the user experience on our Websites.
Special Categories of Personal Information & Sensitive Personal Information
Except as otherwise stated in this Privacy Policy, We do not intentionally collect any sensitive Personal Information or special categories of Personal Information via our Websites, Events, or Mobile Apps unless We are legally required to do so. Personal Information We Have Collected in the Last 12 Months
HighQuest Partners has collected all types of information listed above in Section B in the 12 months preceding the effective date of this Privacy Policy.
How We Use Personal Information
We may use your Personal Information to:
– Improve our Websites’ and Mobile Apps’ functionality;
– Improve Event content and registration processes;
– Send information to you which we think may be of interest to you by post, email, or other means;
– Send you marketing communications relating to our business;
– Provide other companies with statistical information about our users — but this information will not be used to identify any individual user;
– Permit you to communicate directly with other attendees at Events;
– Event photographs/videos collected may be used in publications or other media material produced used or contracted by us, including but not limited to: brochures, invitations, reports, magazines, websites, television, webinars, mobile applications etc.
– Mobile App data is used to facilitate networking at our events, keep our attendees informed, and improve event content; and
– Credit card information submitted for the purchase of requested subscriptions or event registrations is used to complete that transaction and is encrypted.
Disclosure of Personal Information
We will only disclose your Personal Information outside of the Company:
– Where the disclosure is necessary to fulfill your request; or
– When explicitly requested or authorized by you; or
– As required by a court order or any other legal or regulatory requirement; or
– Where the disclosure is reasonably related to the sale or other disposition of all or part of our business; or
– As described above in the “How We Use Personal Information” section; or
– To the extent necessary to fulfill a legitimate function or interest of our business; or
– When we, in good faith, believe that the law requires it or for the protection of our legal rights and the rights of others.
Personal Information We Have Sold to or Shared with Third Parties in the Last 12 Months
HighQuest Partners has shared the following Personal Information with third parties (including event sponsors, Mobile App users, and Event attendees) in the last 12 months: names; contact information (including email addresses and phone numbers); messages sent via Mobile Apps; titles; and attendee schedules at Events. HighQuest Partners does not sell Personal Information, but provides some Personal Information to its sponsors and event attendees as part of the fees charged for sponsorship and attendance, which may qualify as a “sale” under the Privacy Laws.
Legal Bases for Collecting and Using Personal Information
As relevant, HighQuest Partners collects and uses your Personal Information (1) pursuant to your informed consent, which you have granted by confirming the prompts produced by or through the Websites, Events, Mobile Apps, and other applications, and by continuing to use or attend the Websites, Events, Mobile Apps, and other applications, consistent with this Privacy Policy, the Terms of Use , and the Terms and Conditions, (2) in order to pursue HighQuest Partners’ legitimate business interests, and/or (3) to provide the Websites, Events, and Mobile Apps. Any one or more of the bases in the previous sentence are the legal basis for HighQuest Partners’ collection and use of your Personal Information, depending on your use of the Websites, Events, Mobile Apps, and other applications, and your relationship with HighQuest Partners.
To the extent that you give us Personal Information about another individual, you will ensure, and hereby represent to HighQuest Partners, that each such other individual has consented to our collection and use of Personal Information about that individual, if and to the extent Privacy Laws require such consent.
Retention Period for Personal Information
Except upon the request of an individual, as explained in Section J below, and except as the Privacy Laws permit or require otherwise, HighQuest Partners will determine the retention period of any Personal Information based on the following criteria:
– The nature of our relationship with the relevant individual;
– The existence of other ongoing or expected projects involving the relevant individual;
– The nature of the Personal Information in question; and
– Our business needs.
How to Control Your Personal Information
Except where permitted or required by the Privacy Laws, you have the following rights regarding our collection and use of your Personal Information.
1. Requests to HighQuest Partners You may request the following from HighQuest Partners with respect to your Personal Information:
– The correction, updating, deletion, or restriction of collection and use of your Personal Information;
– The categories of Personal Information we have collected about you;
– The categories of sources from which we have collected your Personal Information;
– The envisaged period for which the Personal Information will be stored, or, if not possible, the criteria used to determine that period;
– The business or commercial purpose(s) for collecting and disclosing your Personal Information;
– An account of how we have used or are using your Personal Information;
– A copy of your Personal Information, including the specific pieces of Personal Information, in a format that is easily understandable to the average consumer, and to the extent technically feasible, in a structured, commonly used, machine-readable format, which also may be transmitted to another entity at your request without hindrance;

This gives you the ability to update subscription preferences or completely opt-out of all email communications. You may also respond to the email with Unsubscribe in the subject line to be removed from that list.
If you request that your Personal Information be erased or deleted or that HighQuest Partners otherwise restrict its collection and use of Personal Information, HighQuest Partners may terminate or limit your access to the Websites, Events, and Mobile Apps. If HighQuest Partners has not collected or used your Personal Information, or has not disclosed your Personal Information to another party, we will inform you of that in response to any of the above requests. Some information may remain in our backup media after erasure or deletion for a period of time. When you request that HighQuest Partners update information, We may retain a copy of the unrevised information in our records. HighQuest Partners also may use any anonymized aggregated statistical data derived from or incorporating Personal Information after it is updated, erased, or deleted, but not in a manner that would identify you.
We will confirm receipt of all such requests, provide information about how HighQuest Partners will process the request, and substantively respond to all such requests consistent with the Privacy Laws. There may be a delay in processing a request while we verify that the request is valid and originates from you as opposed to an unauthorized third party. Our verification process varies based on the source and nature of the request, but may include: comparing data in the request against Personal Information we retain; contacting you using other contact information; requesting further information, although we will avoid doing so to the extent possible; and the consideration of certain factors, including the type, sensitivity, and value of your Personal Information, the risk of harm to you posed by an unauthorized request, the likelihood that fraudulent or malicious actors would seek your Personal Information, the manner in which we interact with you, the available technology, and whether the information you have provided to verify your identity is sufficiently robust to protect against fraudulent requests. To the extent permitted by the Privacy Laws, HighQuest Partners retains the right to deny any request if we cannot verify that it originated from you.
HighQuest Partners retains records of all of the above requests and our responses as required by the Privacy Laws.
When you update information, we may maintain a copy of the unrevised information in our records. Please note that some information may remain in our private records after your deletion of such information from your account. We may use any aggregated data derived from or incorporating your Personal Information after you update or delete it, but not in a manner that would identify you personally.
2. Authorized Agent
– You may authorize an agent to take any of the acts permitted in this Section J on your behalf. To do so, you must provide written and signed authority to the agent, and written and signed notice to HighQuest Partners that we may act on such requests by that agent.
3. Withdrawal of Consent
To the extent that we process your Personal Information based on your consent, you may withdraw your consent at any time by contacting us as described in Section T below. Please be aware that such withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of our use of your Personal Information before such withdrawal. We reserve the right to terminate and/or limit your access to the Websites, Events, and Mobile Apps in the event that you withdraw your consent.
4. “Do Not Sell My Personal Information” and Opting Out of Sharing Personal Information
You may opt out of the sale, disclosure, and sharing of your Personal Information by contacting us as described in Section T below.
5. Object or Challenge
You may object to, or otherwise challenge, our collection and use of your Personal Information by contacting us as described in Section T below. HighQuest Partners will respond consistent with the requirements of the Privacy Laws.
6. Filing a Complaint
Regulatory authorities that oversee certain laws governing Personal Information typically advise individuals to file an objection or challenge with the company before lodging a formal complaint with a regulatory authority. If an individual is dissatisfied with our response to an objection or challenge or wishes to file a complaint with a regulatory authority first, the individual may do so, including as follows: PIPEDA: Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada; CCPA: California Attorney General; and GDPR: supervisory authority in the relevant European Union member state PII Laws: the relevant states’ Attorney General’s office.
7. Prohibit Automated Processing
At your request, we will terminate any automated decision making, including profiling, that is the sole source of decisions that produce a legal effect concerning or similarly significantly affecting you. HighQuest Partners does not use any such automated decision-making or profiling at this time.
8. Accessibility for Users with Disabilities
If you are unable to review this Privacy Policy or any portion of this Privacy Policy, please contact us as described in Section T below to request an alternative format.
9. Non-Discrimination
HighQuest Partners will not discriminate against you because you have exercised any of the rights above or any other rights you retain pursuant to the Privacy Laws, including, but not limited to by:
1. Denying goods or services to you;
2. Charging different prices or rates for goods or services, including through the use of discounts or other benefits or imposing penalties;
3. Providing a different level or quality of goods or services to you; and
4. Suggesting that you will receive a different price or rate for goods or services or a different level or quality of goods or services.
As permitted by the Privacy Laws, HighQuest Partners: (i) retains the right to charge you a different price or rate, or provide a different level or quality of goods or services to you, if that difference is reasonably related to the value provided to HighQuest Partners by your Personal Information; (ii) may offer financial incentives, including payments to you as compensation, for the collection, disclosure, or deletion of your Personal Information; (iii) may enter you into a financial incentive program only if HighQuest Partners clearly describes the material terms of the financial incentive program, so long as you give HighQuest Partners prior opt-in consent, which you may revoke at any time; and (iv) shall not use financial incentive practices that are unjust, unreasonable, coercive, or usurious in nature.
HighQuest Partners’ Financial Incentives
HighQuest Partners does not offer any financial incentives for providing Personal Information, however, some of the features and services we offer – including Event attendance, use of the Websites, and use of the Mobile Apps – may be partially limited or wholly unavailable without your Personal Information.
Security commitment
We use appropriate physical, administrative, technological, and organizational measures to ensure an appropriate level of security for the Personal Information we collect. Having said that, the safety and security of your information also depends on you. Where we have given you (or where you have chosen) a password for access to certain parts of our Websites, you are responsible for keeping this password confidential. We ask you not to share your password with anyone. If you suspect unauthorized access to your information, it is your responsibility to contact us immediately.
Links and Banner Advertisements
Most of our Websites and Mobile Apps contain links and banner advertisements that link our Websites and Mobile Apps to other third party websites. This Privacy Policy does not govern those websites.
