Jeffrey Khoo is currently a Vice President and Senior Orginator at Swiss Re Corporate Solutions for the Food and Agriculture Business, responsible for business development and origination for Agriculture Insurance for Southeast Asia and China. Jeffrey graduated with Honors from the National University of Singapore in Botany in 1994. He speaks five Asian languages and is one a few Singaporeans with both a background in agriculture and business. Prior to Swiss Re, he was the Director, Agribusiness at Caudex Asia. He was previously Deputy CEO of Green Agritech International Ltd. In 2007 he was the General Manager of Singapore Stock Exchange listed agriculture and biotechnology company, Guangzhao IFB. Jeffrey is the current Chairman of Intellectual Pursuit at the National University of Singapore Society, Honorary Adviser to the Myanmar Rice Traders Association, Chairman of the NUSS General Election Political Dialogue, and Agriculture Adviser, to the Accounting Standards Council (ASC) that governs the Singapore Accounting Act.
