David is a Kirchner Food Fellow Alumnus and a PhD Candidate at Rutgers University focusing on genetic improvement of under-developed crops for emerging markets.  As a project manager for a USAID initiative, David oversees demonstration farms in Zambia, Kenya, and Tanzania, where research is conducted and best-practices are shared with farmers.  David also serves as a consultant to investors and businesses from incubation-stage through private equity rounds of funding.
