Message From the Editor

To say 2020 was challenging would be an understatement; yet as we stand here at the close of a year of great challenges and supreme sacrifices, we reflect on those who saw the opportunity in the difficulty. Those who, like our Global AgInvesting community, were resilient and with  overarching patience, ingenious creativity and innovation, increased cooperation, and with mindful adaptation kept the agriculture and food sectors humming and moving forward.

I think of the phrase, where there is food, there is hope. Through your leadership, entrepreneurialism, diligence, and creative ways of re-examining and re-inventing how food is produced and at what costs – ecological and otherwise – you continue to increase food security and quality of life for all involved. And where there is food, there is hope. What better gift to give the world during a year such as this.

This holiday season we at Global AgInvesting and GAI News wish you and your families wonderful food, fresh air, peace, and hope as we approach the cusp of a new year and a new beginning.
