David Gladstone is the chairman and CEO of Gladstone Capital (NASDAQ: GLAD), Gladstone Investment (NASDAQ: GAIN), Gladstone Commercial (NASDAQ: GOOD) and Gladstone Land Corporation (NASDAQ: LAND). All four companies pay monthly cash dividends to shareholders and have never missed a payment. Prior to founding these companies, Mr. Gladstone was chairman of American Capital Strategies (NASDAQ: ACAS) and chairman and CEO of Allied Capital Corporation (NYSE: ALD) when both of these companies were very profitable. He is also the author of two published books: Venture Capital Handbook and Venture Capital Investing. Mr. Gladstone holds an MBA from the Harvard Business School, an MA from American University and a BA from the University of Virginia.
