Bill Peressini has been named as the new president of Hancock Natural Resource Group (HNRG) effective immediately, by the group’s Chief Executive Officer, Dan Christiansen. Mr. Peressini, the group’s Chief Financial Officer has been with the group since 2011, and will continue in that position in addition to his new appointment until September 30, 2015. Peressini was key to the development of the group’s renewable energy business and the formation of its integrated farmland investment management platform through the acquisition of Farmland Management Services.
Other senior management appointments made within the group include the appointment of Wilfred Steiner as Managing Director and CFO of HNRG, effective October 1, 2015. Mr. Steiner is currently Managing Director Australiasia and Director of International Finance, and will be relocating from Sydney to Boston. Donna Frankel, with the group since 2010, has been appointed Managing Director, General Counsel of HNRG, and Barry Engel has been made Managing Director, Corporate Resources, and will be responsible for human resources and information technology across HNRG’s global businesses.
