With a 92% approval, members of the North Dakota-based agribusiness Dakota Plains Co-operative voted to join CHS, INC., the U.S.’s leading farmer-owned energy, grain, and food company co-op. The merge will be effective January 1, 2014 pending due diligence by both organizations and approval by the CHS Board of Directors. Dakota Plains Coop provides a full range of seed, agronomy, feed, and energy services to farmers and ranchers from 15 locations across southeast North Dakota.
