Dan Dierking is currently the President of the National Council of Real Estate Investment Fiduciaries, or NCREIF, an association of institutional real estate professionals. Previously, Dan was NCREIF’s Chief Information Officer responsible for the creation, approval and execution of the information technology strategic plan as well as NCREIF’s product roadmap for its membership and industry. In addition, Dan managed NCREIF’s Data Team whose core responsibilities include collection, validation and production of NCREIF’s index data and benchmarks, management of internal and external projects and application development of all business and member facing applications.
Prior to joining NCREIF Dan held various IT roles across different industries. Preceding NCREIF he worked for the Banta Corporation, a 2 billion dollar supply chain and printing company as their Global Application Director. Dan managed a team of 25 across the United States responsible for the overall strategy, execution and implementation of all enterprise applications. Prior to Banta Dan was the IT Director for North America for Sanford Corporation, a global 1.5 billion dollar writing instrument and office products manufacturer. Additionally other former roles included consulting engagements across numerous industries while working for 2 different consulting firms which included Accenture.
Dan graduated from Eastern Illinois University with a degree in Computer Management. He is married with 2 kids and currently resides in Chicago.
