Joe is Regional Director for MetLife’s Latin America Regional Office and a member of the Agricultural Portfolio Unit. He is responsible for managing MetLife’s international agricultural and timber investments as well as providing oversight for loan approvals, business development and portfolio strategy for the department. Herrmann graduated from Kansas State University in Agricultural Economics and joined MetLife in 2008.

Throughout his 37 year career, in addition to debt and equity investments, he has managed wholesale lending and retail loan production units specializing in production agriculture and capital finance.
