Dr. Karl G. Gutbrod is a business manager with three decades of experience in international agribusiness, product and business development, marketing, meteorology and information services. He has worked for GTZ(GIZ), DED, Ciba, Novartis, Syngenta and meteoblue AG; and has lived and worked in Germany, Switzerland, United States, Brazil, Thailand and China.
Dr. Gutbrod holds a PhD in agronomy from the University of Göttingen. Since 1998, he’s taught Decision Theory, International Business, Innovation and Corporate Management at the University (DHBW) in Lörrach.
Since Nov. 2007, Dr. Gutbrod has been CEO of meteoblue AG, a University Basel spin-off and now an internationally recognized brand.
