Kevin Schwartz

Kevin is CEO and a founding Partner of Paine Schwartz Partners.
Prior to co-founding Paine Schwartz Partners in 2006, he was a Managing Director at the Predecessor Firm, which he joined in 2002. Prior to joining the Predecessor Firm, he worked for the private equity firm Fremont Partners, where he assisted with the management of approximately $1.7 billion of funds focused on the building products, financial services and consumer products industries. At Fremont Partners, he was responsible for financial and business due diligence, transaction structuring and negotiation, and monitoring the firm’s investment portfolio. He began his professional career in 1997 at Goldman, Sachs & Co. focusing on financial analysis of mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, public and private financings, and other corporate transactions. In 1999, he joined American Industrial Partners, a private equity investment firm, where he assisted with the management of approximately $1 billion of funds focused on the general industrial sector. During his tenure at American Industrial Partners, he was involved with both new investments and investment management.
Kevin serves on the boards of directors of AgBiTech, Global ID, Costa, and Verdesian Life Sciences. He is also a member of the Rush Associates Board of the Rush University Medical Center. He is a graduate of the University of Illinois (Bachelor of Science in accountancy) and was raised in Moline, Illinois.
