Robert manages the investment process related to private equity opportunities within the firm.  He joined AMERRA in 2015 with a strong foundation in executive leadership, risk management, domestic and international logistics, and business development within the feed and grain industry. His background is built over 18+ years in a variety of strategic and functional leadership roles, first with Cargill Animal Nutrition and then J.D. Heiskell & Co. At the time of his departure from Heiskell, he oversaw a diverse team of 200+ individuals located in multiple states that collectively generated in excess of $1.5 billion in annual sales revenue and handled over two million tons a year of various physical commodities.

Raised on a grain and beef cattle farm in Indiana, he holds a BS in Animal Science from Oklahoma State University and an MBA with concentrations in finance and management from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.  Robert is a graduate of the California Ag Leadership Program (Class 36) and past Director of the National Grain and Feed Association. He currently acts as a Director of both Norbest and Pipeline Foods and serves on the Oklahoma State University Animal Science Alumni Advisory Board.
