Sebastian Hoffmann is a Principal at Permira and a member of the Industrials sector team. Within the Industrials sector, Sebastian is responsible for Permira’s investment activities in the agriculture & food value chain, in which Permira is one of the largest PE investors globally, having executed investments with an aggregate enterprise value in excess of $14 billion.

Sebastian joined Permira in 2004 and is based in Frankfurt, Germany. From 2011 to 2015, he spent 4 years for Permira in Hong Kong, leading its Industrials sector activities in Asia. Sebastian has worked on numerous investments for Permira, including Permira’s agriculture & food value chain investments into Netafim, CABB, Cognis, and Akindo Sushiro.

Sebastian holds a Master of Science (with distinction) from Leipzig Graduate School of Management in Germany and an MBA (with distinction) from INSEAD in France and Singapore.
