Yuito Yamada is a Partner from McKinsey’s Tokyo office. Since joining McKinsey, he has primarily worked for the Chemicals and Agriculture practice. He recently worked on a project that developed the country transformation for Japan’s Agriculture sector, focusing on improving farmers’ incomes. He also led a commercial due diligence with a Japanese Major Ag company for their growth in emerging markets (including Africa) for their soft commodities business. Other recent projects include developing a global strategy for a Japanese wheat milling and mixing company with a focus on opportunities in Asia, leading a Joint Venture structure building for a Japanese Major Ag company for regions in the United States and Latin America for the agriculture division, and leading a go-to-market strategy for a Japanese chemicals conglomerate in the feed additive business.
Prior to joining McKinsey, Yuito worked as an intern in J.P. Morgan M&A Investment Banking Division (2008), Morgan Stanley Equity Sales Division (2008). Yuito holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics from Keio University in Japan, and studied as an exchange student in Business and Management at UCLA Anderson School of Business. He is a United States Certified Public Accountant (CPA).
