When Sten joined Biomega in September 2019, ge brought with him 25 years of experience from across the food and health industry in executive roles in operations, sales, marketing and commercial development. Sten’s previous role was as Executive Vice President of Asia Pacific & Latin America at Chr. Hansen, a leading bioscience company that develops natural solutions for the food, nutritional, pharmaceutical and agricultural industries. Sten holds a MSU in Food Science & Technology, and MBA in General Management and an Executive Master in Change.
Juan Pablo is the Group-wide Officer for Finance, Commercial Operations, Information Technology, Human Resources, Strategic Planning, and Business Development, with previous roles including Chief Marketing Officer and Chief Financial Officer. Prior to Mercon Group, Juan Pablo held multiple positions with GE, where he led acquisition integration for Wave Biotech Global Services. He has a degree in chemical engineering from the University of Minnesota, and earned his MBA in Strategy and Finance at Yale University.
Alex is a Swedish-American citizen with Greek-American roots. He grew up in Athens, Greece and studied at Yale University, USA. He has worked in Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Germany and has held several senior global executive roles. He started his career in 1985 with Unilever where he spent 11 years in Marketing, Sales & Innovation within Foods and Ice Cream. In 2000 he joined the Carlsberg Group and was part of the Executive Management Team for 10 years: 5 years as SVP Global Marketing, Sales and Innovation and 5 years as SVP for Western Europe (14 European Subsidiaries). In 2009 he joined the Getinge Group (listed global Medical Devices company) as President & CEO of Arjo (then a subsidiary – today listed) and in 2015 became Group President & CEO of the Getinge Group. Alex joined the Andromeda Group as Group CEO in November 2019.
