Pakistan’s largest poultry operation, K&N’s Food has established a poultry processing plant in Fulton, New York. The company plans to market Halal chicken products in the U.S. and Canada under the brand name K&N’s Food USA LLC. Initially the company will focus on producing value-added processing of poultry sourced from outside slaughterhouses at its renovated Bird’s Eye plant K&N’s was founded in 1964 and today is a modern vertically integrated poultry business which includes feed milling, hatching, parent-stock production, pullet growing, boiler production, processing, and retail. The company has six broiler growing facilities each with a capacity of 250,000 to 300,000 birds and controls over 60% of the market in Pakistan’s frozen and value-added chicken meat products sector. Its products are sold through the company’s K&N’s Chicken stores across 15 of the largest cities in Pakistan.
