Sebastián Popik is the founder and managing partner of Aqua Capital. He has fifteen years of private equity experience in South America focused on agribusiness, food and logistics and a comprehensive experience creating operational value. As part of his responsibilities in managing Aqua Capital, he oversees strategy, deal origination, portfolio company operations and people. Additionally, he is Chairman of Rural Brasil, Agro100, Fertilaqua, Grand Cru and Geneseas. Previously, he was a partner at agribusiness-focused Pampa Capital and Chief Executive Officer for Salutia, a healthcare process automation provider. Sebastián was a management consultant with Booz Allen & Hamilton in Latin America and the US. He earned a Masters in Public Policy from Harvard University, which he attended as a Fulbright Scholar, and a BA in Economics from Universidad de San Andrés. He is married and has two kids.
