Abengoa To Build $110 Million Waste-To-Energy Plant in Arizona

Abengoa, SA, the largest developer of solar energy plants will build and operate a $110 million waste-to-energy plant in Glendale, Arizona.  The facility will process 180,000 tons of municipal solid waste annually and generate15 megawatts of energy.  The company will maintain the plant under a 30 year agreement with Chicago-based Vieste Energy LLC, a renewable energy developer.
