Company opens investment opportunity to farmers, ag investors and regenerative agriculture supporters
Advancing Eco Agriculture (AEA) has launched a community fundraising round through Wefunder that is open to the public. Through this campaign, the company is providing an opportunity for farmers, ag investors, and regenerative agriculture supporters to become a part of its growth and future development.
AEA is a farm consultancy and nutritional products company dedicated to increasing yield and crop performance while reducing or eliminating the need for pesticides and fertilizers. The company works with growers of all methodologies and crop types to implement regenerative agriculture systems through a combination of plant nutrients and biologicals, expert consulting, plant and soil testing, data-driven crop nutrition programs, and real-time analytics to measure performance.
Since 2006, AEA has worked with over 10,000 growers across four million acres in the United States and globally, successfully implementing regenerative agriculture systems – a growing $3.6 billion market – on intensive farm operations.
This community raise will enable AEA to further develop new and existing products, services and technologies. It will allow the company to further build its team and expand beyond its current markets in North and South America and parts of Europe to new and adjacent markets. This will drive accessibility and scalability for AEA’s regenerative agriculture systems globally.
AEA’s expansion efforts will be showcased later this week when, in response to growing demand for its regenerative plant nutrition products and services, the company hosts a grand opening for its state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Aurora, Colorado.
“AEA helps growers use fewer inputs and increase profits by restoring soil health, boosting yields and improving crop quality,” said John Kempf, founder and chief vision officer for AEA.
“Our community fundraise campaign invites farmers and others who believe in regenerative agriculture and its positive financial and social impact to invest in us and our mission. It is these symbiotic relationships that will fuel and drive AEA’s continued growth and success.”
In April 2022, AEA raised $4.7 million in financing, both equity and debt, in the company’s first-ever external round of funding, with impact investor participation and non-equity financing support from the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA).
