AquaSpy Raises $2 Million to Further Soil Sensor Technology

AquaSpy, a developer of soil sensor technology, has raised 1,930,000 of a $2 million debt offering according to a SEC filing. The company, led by CEO Bruce Moeller, a former Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year, has developed a soil sensor which is a vertical shaft fitted with sensors every four inches that is then buried 60 inches under the soil. Through this technology, AquaSpy intends to help farmers become more efficient in the use of water, fertilizers, and energy.
