Brief: Angolan Investment Group Invests US$120 Million in Agro-Livestock Venture

The Angolan investment group, S. Tulumba – Investimentos e Participações, owned by businessman, Sivestre Tulumba Kapose, has made a US$120 million investment in Fazenda Vales Silvestres, an agricultural and livestock farming venture in the south of Angola.

 

Located in Angola’s municipality of Caconda in the Huila province, the 13,000-hectare project will have the capacity to produce 20 million liters of milk and 60,000 tons of grain per year according to the farm managers.

 

The operation will include 2,200 head of cattle for milk production, a grain drying and storage unit, a pig farm, and a feed mill with the ultimate goal of exporting agricultural goods and livestock to other countries in the region.
