Just one month after selling its Brazilian fertilizer operations to Yara International for $750 million, Bunge is selling its 50% stake in Bunge Maroc Phosphore SA to OCP Group. OCP and Bunge formed the joint venture of Bunge Maroc Phosphore SA in 2008 to produce fertilizer in Morocco and serve in a sourcing capacity for Bunge fertilizer companies in South America. Bunge’s original equity investment in the joint venture is estimated to be $57 million.
