Canada Bread Company Ltd. has sold its fresh pasta and sauce business Olivieri Foods to Spanish Ebro Foods for $120 million. Ebro is a multi-national food group in rice, pastas and sauces. Olivieri Foods had total sales of $105.5 million in 2012. Canada Bread’s majority owner Maple Leaf Foods, which focuses on meat products announced as part of its seven year restructuring plan it was exploring options for its bakery business including selling it.
