Just one month after buying a 50% stake in Agfarm, an Australian grain marketing company, the agricultural co-op CHS is considering a merger with North Dakota-based agribusiness co-op Dakota Plains Cooperative. Such a merger would increase production and soil management opportunities for farmers and ranchers.
