In a move by Adams Foods toward its goal of becoming a leading supplier to cheese in the UK, it has announced a long-term strategic partnership with First Milk to create a supply chain for hard cheeses to the UK. Frist Milk will join Parkham Farms and South Caernarfon Creameries which already supply Adams. Adams Food will cut, pack and market 50,000 tons of hard cheeses including branded cheddars produced at Frist Milk’s Lake District and Havenfordwest Creameries. By securing a supply chain, the partnership will allow First Milk to focus more on brand development, nutrition, and exports, while increasing Adams Food’s turnover to more than £500 million.
