Fish Farm Gets Big Bite in China

Australia-based RADAQUA which builds aquaculture production systems and hatcheries for private and government clients will be building a 16.6 hectare facility in Zhao’an near Xiamen in China.  The project is valued at A$300 million and will have a capacity to produce 1000 tons of grouper and coral trout per week or 5000 tons per year.  All production harvested will be used to meet local demand in Fujian province which has a population greater than all of Australia.  RADAQUA has a client base in the Philippines, Singapore, China, the Sultanate of Oman, and Russia.
