As competition on global markets increases, InVivo, a French group of farmer-owned cooperatives, and France’s largest exporter of French cereals, is working with Archer Daniels Midland (ADM) toward gaining a more global scope for its business. Under the partnership between the two parties, ADM will use InVivo for origination in France and InVivo will use ADM for origins from the Black Sea Region. InVivo has separated its trading business into a separate entity called InVivo Trading and plans to establish trading office outside of Europe – in Singapore to target Asian markets, and in Brazil. The group aims to double its sales to just over €12 billion over ten years from €6 billion in 2012/13. After InVivo Sold its minority stake in Toepfer International to ADM earlier this year giving ADM full control of the German trader, InVivo stated it would tighten its ties with ADM through its British joint venture, Gleadell.
