GlobalDairy Trade has announced that Land O’ Lakes dairy products are to be sold on its GlobalDairy Trade commodity trading platform beginning in March 2014. Land O’ Lakes will initially offer skim milk powder and will offer butter later in the year. Land O’ Lakes is one of the biggest co-operatives in the U.S. – ranked 194 on the Fortune 500 with 2012 annual sales of over $14 billion across 60 countries. The involvement of Land O’ Lakes with the GlobalDairy Trade platform will mean there will be six sellers offering skim milk powder, and once Land O’ Lakes offer butter, there will be three sellers of that product on the platform.
