Singapore-listed QAF, formerly known as Bunge, has exited Australian dairy as its subsidiary, Rivalea – Australia’s largest producer and exporter of pork meat – sells its dairy farm, Oxdale to European pension fund ACE Farming for approximately $5 million. With this latest acquisition, ACE Farming has become the largest mainland dairy farmer with 17 farms across Victoria in its portfolio, milking approximately 10,000 cows. The sale of Oxdale includes notable water entitlements including 3,500 megaliters of ground and channel water and is the second dairy farm sold to ACE Farming this year by an Asian backed investor after Longyuan International also sold its Malmo farm to ACE earlier in the year.
