As of November 22, 2013 Ukraine’s grain exports reached 12.84 million tons since the beginning of the 2013/14 marketing year (July 2013 – June 2014) and because of record breaking yields for the country, total grain exports during this marketing year may exceed the forecasts and reach 30 million tons.  For the current year Ukraine expects to be a top-five grain exporting country and it claims the second position behind the U.S. for global grain export volumes.   At November 22nd Ukraine has harvested 60.4 million tons of grain and grain legumes from 15.2 million hectares.  And since the beginning of the current marketing year Ukraine has exported 5.91 million tons of wheat, 1.95 million tons of barley, 2.93 million tons of maize, 1.83 million tons of rape, 304,300 tons of soybeans, 2,800 tons of rye and 50,100 tons of other crops.
