VDL Gets Approval for $122 Million Dairy Espansion in Tasmania

Van Diemen’s Land Co. (VDL) has received approval from the Tasmanian government for the company’s $122 million expansion plan for its Woolworth dairy. Once VDL receives further approval from the Federal Government under the Environmental Protection & Biodiversity Act the company plans to double its milk production by creating 11 new dairy farms through the conversion of beef operations to dairy, and by clearing land in Woolworth, Tasmania.
