Allflex Buys Milk Production Monitoring Company, SCR for $250 Million

The U.S.-based livestock identification technology company, Allflex Group, has acquired Israeli diary production monitoring systems company SCR for $250 million.  SCR produces and markets monitoring systems for cows, cow sheds, milk production, sheep pens, and goatherds that improve quality of product, profitability, and efficiency. Allflex is a leader in livestock monitoring through electronic ID tags and tissue sampling. Allflex has acquired 100% of SCR’s shares from private equity firm, Tene Investment Funds and the four company founders. The deal is expected to close in the coming weeks.
