Distributor of fine wines and spirits, Domaine Select Wine Estates (DSWE), has announced a strategic partnership with private equity group, Walden Capital Management. The partnership will bring fresh capital and financial and management expertise to the company that has been renamed, Domaine Select Wine & Spirits (DSWS).

 

Company founder and chief executive officer, Paolo Domeneghetti states that the new partnership and backing that Walden Capital brings will enable the company to pursue long-held ambitions of aggressive long-term growth in the middle space between small and large wine and spirit distributors. The funds will support Domaine in its plan to increase its product offerings through the development of its existing and new brands, and to support the company’s efforts to increase its national presence.

 

Miami-based private equity group, Walden Capital Management, notes that DSWS is well positioned for future growth given the fresh financial strength the partnership will provide based on the distributor’s proactive marketing and brand building activities.
