After domestic success with its sugar substitute product ‘Truvia’, Cargill is looking to expand its business into Brazil and India – possibly within a year. Cargill has already expanded into Mexico and Venezuela, however, expansion into Brazil and India might prove more challenging since both countries are top producers of the real thing and India is also the world’s top consumer of sugar.
