Cargill Inc. has announced it plans to build a $200 million state-of-the-art sunflower oil crushing plant in southern Russia to be in production in time for the 2015 harvest. The plant will be constructed in Novoanninskiy in the Volgograd region and have a capacity to process 640,000 tons of sunflower seed per year.
