Chinese Organic Dairy Maker Plans $800 Million Hong Kong IPO

Inner Mongolia Shengmu High-Tech Dairy is planning an $800 million initial public offering (IPO) in Hong Kong during the second quarter of 2014. Depending on the company’s expected profit growth and market conditions the deal could grow to reach $1 billion.  In November 2013 China’s fourth biggest raw milk producer YuanShengTai Dairy Farm raised $425 million, and in September 2013 China Huishan Dairy made a $1.3 billion offering through listings in Hong Kong.  BOC International and Goldman Sachs will manage the IPO for Inner Mongolia.
