Japanese agricultural company Megumi No Sato, a member of the G-7 Group which specializes in the sale of vegetables was granted a joint venture permission by the Myanmar Investment Commission (MIC) to join with Myanmar’s City Mart Holding Co. to cultivate fruit and vegetables in Pyin Oo Lwin in the Mandalay region of the country. This is the first Japanese private joint venture partnership with a Myanmar company.
