Nashville’s LandFund Partners Raises $7 Million to Invest in Farmland

Nashville-based LandFund Partners LP has raised $7 million for a new investment fund which has bought 2,500 acres of row crop farmland.  The first deals for the closed-end private equity fund are two parcels of leased row crop farmland in Mississippi and Arkansas equaling 2,500 acres.  The fund is looking to expand its land holdings particularly in the Delta region of the U.S. where the fund sees attractive valuations when comparing costs and yields per acre to farmland in the Midwest.
