The European Commission has confirmed a low-pathogenic H5 avian flu in the Lombardy region, and Vietnam has confirmed the occurrence of a highly-pathogenic strain of the H5N1 which has killed 370 birds on a duck and chicken farm in the Hoa Binh province.
