Gina Rinehart Invests in Kimberly Cattle Stations

Just months after Andrew Forrest bought into Pilbara cattle station and the Harvey beef abattoir, Australian mining billionaire Gina Rinehart has joined with Milne AgriGroup, one of Western Australia’s biggest agribusinesses to buy stakes in two cattle stations.  The new company named Liveringa Station Beef has bought stakes in two stations in the Kimberly with the aim to double beef production.  Liveringa, the larger of the two station at 265,000 hectares runs 22,000 head of cattle.  The company has also acquired the Waroona abattoir which was once the biggest meat processing facility in Western Australia.
