Powering Agriculture: An Energy Grand Challenge for Development (PAEGC) has Launched its Second Global Innovation Call

Powering Agriculture: An Energy Grand Challenge for Development (PAEGC) is seeking to identify new and sustainable options concerning clean energy solutions that will increase agricultural productivity and value in developing countries. Toward this end, PAEGC has released its second Global Innovation Call on November 13, 2014 to source innovative business models and technologies at the nexus of clean energy and agriculture. In 2013, 11 organizations received awards between US$800,00 and US$1.5 million to support their winning ideas. Any questions may be submitted in English at poweringag@usaid.gov before December 1, 2014, 4 pm EST, and the deadline for the submission of concept notes is February 12, 2015, 4 pm EST.
